hello!
My name is Lulu Krause and I am based in Manhattan. I'm the Social Media Coordinator at the global Advertising Technology company, PubMatic, where I produce and curate SEO-focused content across social platforms, with a focus in brand voice enhancement. I recognize the significance of follower/client and company dialogue, and continuously work to place the audience at the center of the digital conversation.
Previously, I was the Social Media Director for Guernica Magazine. In this role, I oversaw all social platforms, including Guernica’s Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr. Through hashtag campaigns, tweet chats, and a focus on image-based content, I exponentially grew and made consistent the publication’s engagement numbers: Guernica’s Tumblr is currently featured alongside The New Yorker’s for recommended culture reading on Tumblr. In my prior position as the online community manager for the mobile app start up Yapp, I oversaw Yapps’s Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr. In addition, I provided direct customer support, executed and analysed mass campaign outreach and feedback programs.
I moved here after graduating from Haverford College in Philadelphia, where I earned a degree in cultural anthropology with minors in art history and creative writing. At Haverford, I was editor-in-chief of two school publications (satire and fiction), and co-founder and president of the school’s musical theater troupe, for which I wrote an original musical comedy (spring ‘12). I was selected as Class Speaker at Commencement, and received an award for my contribution to performing arts at Haverford. I am a member of the Phi Beta Kappa society.
